The majority of our fundraising events are held
here at the hospice and are a marvellous way to introduce you to the very valuable work that we do at the Hospice and a way in which you can have fun and support us at the same time. We are always looking for new ideas for our fundraising events so would love to hear from you. Or why not organise one of your own, we are happy to advise and assist, or you can volunteer to help at one of our events. |

Popular 2012 events at the Hospice for your Diary
Wednesday 14 November 2012: Light
This is a lovely evening in which you can remember your loved ones by
personalising a candle bag with your message and you can also tie a ribbon on
our commemorative tree in their memory. This event is open to all and we look
forward to welcoming you. Hot soup will be available on the evening. Music TBC
in the New Year.
Saturdays in 2012: Coffee Mornings
Our hugely popular coffee mornings take place on a monthly basis from 10.30am and run through to 12 noon and entry is just 50p. During this time
you can browse in our Butterfly Boutique and grab yourself a bargain or two, whilst enjoying a cup of tea or coffee and
biscuits, enter our raffle and catch up with friends old and new and support us
at the same time.

Corporate Fundraising
One of our aims is to develop positive relationships with local businesses to
raise their profile in the local community, whilst supporting our challenging
fundraising objectives.
By creating 'win win' collaborations, business leaders and owners not only gain
personal satisfaction in helping local patients with life limiting illness, but
can also facilitate a good team spirit amongst their employees, which in turn can help business performance.
